FC MAIN GOALS
HEALTHIER COMMUNITIES
- Community Fitness class: Zumba, bilingual yoga, or HIIT class once a week on average for 100 participants per class. Stream virtual classes to keep supporting communities throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic. Provide Outreach and Recognition of our wellness partners.
WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
- FitMix is building Incredible Communities by reaching out to members of diverse communities to teach, train, and expand their knowledge base about health, fitness, and wellness. These Incredible members of diverse communities will reach out to create and promote health, fitness, and wellness within their own communities.
WELLNESS ROSOURCES
- Wellness Community Center: a hub for people to find reliable coaches and reliable information regarding health, fitness, nutrition, and continuing education.

- Heroes Again Program where we honor our veterans and they come to inspire others
- Improvement of our platforms and social networks, to reach beyond where we have come and project our services and programs to everyone who needs it

FitMix Communities 2019-2021 ACHIEVEMENTS
- 2021 FitMix Salvation Army Food Drive.
- Harris County COVID-19 prevention campaign partnership providing community outreach and education to underserved communities.
- FitMix provided over 420+ free virtual classes during the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic.
- 50+ free Zumba classes provided at Levy Park and Midtown Par with an average attendance between 50-100 participants per class in 2020.
- Free virtual classes with the Museum of Fine Arts Houston partnership on Facebook Live bringing Art and Fitness together generating over 40K views in 2020.
- FitMix’s UnitedHealthCare partnership expanded it’s outreach to communities outside 610 loop including Galveston, Katy Richmond, and more in 2020.
- FitMix provided over 150+ free Zumba classes at Levy Park and Midtown Park with an average attendance between 50-100 per class in 2019.
- FitMix’s Salvation Army partnership offered free weekly senior classes and an 8-week summer program with Camp Buckaroo for children with severe disabilities from Easter Seals in 2019.
